Sh'ma Ministries - A Ministry to Jews & Gentiles
1. ) The Bible consisting of the Tenach: Holy Scriptures (Torah, Law, Prophets, Writings), and the Brit Chadashah (New Covenant), is the only infallible and authoritative word of G-d.

2. )  G-d- We believe that the Shema, “Hear O Israel, the Lord is our G-d, the Lord is one” (Deut. 6:4), teaches that G-d is Echad as so declared: a united one, composite unity, eternally existent in plural oneness.

3. )  G-d’s Son Yeshua - This one is the promised Mashiach (Messiah) of Israel.

4. ) The Ruach Ha Kodosh (Holy Spirit).

5. )  Resurrection and Judgment- both the redeemed and the lost will be resurrected.  The redeemed to everlasting life, and the lost to eternal separation from G-d for everlasting punishment.

6. )  Mashiach, (Messiah), according to scripture, was promised to come two times.

7. )  Israel in Prophecy- G-d has an end time plan for the nation of Israel and for the world.  A central part of Messianic Judaism is the belief in the physical and spiritual restoration of Israel, as taught in the Scriptures.

8. )  Messianic Judaism recognizes that Jewish people (physical descendants of Abraham through Isaac and Jacob), whether through the mother’s or father’s bloodline, who place their faith in Israel’s Messiah, Yeshua, continue to be Jewish according to the scriptures.  Gentiles who place their faith in Yeshua, are ‘grafted into’ the olive tree of faith (Rom. 11:17-25), becoming spiritual sons and daughters of Abraham (Gal. 3:28-29).

9. )  We believe worship includes Davidic dancing, (Israeli folk dance) and praying incessantly, and reading Torah portions each week.

10. ) We believe that the Sabbath (Shabbat) is Friday night sundown to Saturday night sundown, and is to be remembered and kept as commanded in the Torah.

11. ) We believe Hebrew to be one of the original languages (or a variation of it) of G-d and strive to learn it.

12. ) We believe that the Sabbath (Shabbat) is Friday night sundown to Saturday night sundown, and is to be remembered and kept as commanded in the Torah.  We meet each Shabbat for Friday evening services (Erev Shabbat) and Saturday services.

13. ) We believe that breaking bread with others is covenanting with one another.  We try to have oneg (covered dish dinners) at each meeting time as facilities allow.

14. ) Each Erev Shabbat service includes a Kiddish (similar to communion).  Kiddish includes challah and wine (grape juice).

15. ) We believe Hebrew to be the original language of G-d and strive to learn Hebrew and read our prayers and many other texts in (transliterational) Hebrew to the best of our ability.  We will teach basic Hebrew to all members and interested persons joining our congregation.
